As the five-match Test series between India and England comes to an end, here’s a look at the combined best XI.

The 2025 edition of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy ended in a 2-2 draw on Monday (August 4) after India secured a memorable win by six runs in the fifth and final Test played at The Oval. In the five-match series, a total of nine batters scored more than 400 runs, and players from both the teams scored a total of 7187 runs, of which 3809 were scored by Indian batters alone. As the series came to an end, here’s a look at the combined best XI of the India-England Test series.
1. KL Rahul played all five Tests and, with the help of two centuries and as many fifties, scored 532 runs. (Picture Credit: AP)
2. Ben Duckett played all five matches for the English team and amassed a total of 462 runs, which includes a 149-run knock in the second innings of the first Test played in Leeds. (Picture Credit: AP)
3. World No. 1 Test batter Joe Root hammered three centuries for England against India and scored a total of 537 runs. (Picture Credit: AP)

6. Ben Stokes played four Tests and scored 304 runs in addition to taking 17 wickets. He scored a century (141) and picked up a fifer (5/72) in the first inning of the 4th Test played at Old Trafford and won two POTM awards. (Picture Credit: AP)
