Indian cricket star Virat Kohli is winning Telugu hearts after his comments on Tollywood superstar Jr NTR went viral. Kohli said he’s a big fan of NTR and never misses a chance to watch his movies.

At an event in Hyderabad, Kohli revealed he often listens to Telugu songs and shares a close bond with Jr NTR. He praised NTR’s warm nature and admitted he was deeply impressed by his personality.

Their friendship began during a road safety campaign, and since then, they’ve stayed connected. Kohli even added that while Jr NTR is his favourite in Telugu, Tamil actor Simbu tops his list in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR’s Bollywood debut War 2 with Hrithik Roshan didn’t meet expectations at the box office, turning out to be a disappointment. However, his powerful portrayal of Komaram Bheem in RRR cemented his pan-India stardom.

From playing Lord Rama as a child in Ramayanam to experimenting with diverse roles over two decades, Jr NTR has carved a unique place in Indian cinema. Apart from films, he has also connected with TV audiences through shows like Bigg Boss Telugu and Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu.

Starting with Ninnu Choodalani (2001) and breaking through with Student No.1, Jr NTR never looked back. His recent film Devara crossed ₹100 crore at the Hindi box office, boosting his pan-India craze even further.

Currently, NTR is shooting for an action entertainer directed by Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTR Dragon. With filming already underway, fans are eagerly waiting to see what he brings to the big screen next.
