The smartphone launches in July 2025 have been unusually more with some power-hitters like the Nothing Phone 3, the Samsung Z Fold 7 and the Vivo X200 FE among others making their way to the market. However, August 2025 is not likely to stay behind in the race and make up for a strong precursor before the Techtember period kicks in with the iPhone 17 series launch.

This month’s lineup includes the new Google Pixel 10 series, Vivo has got a few options coming out, and the likes of Oppo and Redmi also want your attention.

Big Smartphone Launches In August 2025

Google Pixel 10 Series

Google Pixel 10 series launch event date has been confirmed by the company. The new Pixel 10 lineup is likely to include four models once again, including a new foldable, along with a new Pixel Watch version and maybe some new Pixel Buds too.

The Pixel 10 series launch event is confirmed for Wednesday, August 20 and the showcase will be happening in New York, US. Google India has teased the August 21 launch date for the Pixel 10 series announcement in India. Google should also bring the new Pixel Watch 4 model which is rumoured to get the same design as the Pixel Watch 3 but carrying a bigger battery this year.

The good news is that Google is likely to make some upgrades for the latest Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL models but some of the existing features could be carried over to the new models.

Vivo V60

Vivo V60 is launching in India very soon and the company has started with the teasers for the new V-series model. Vivo could also build upon the India-centric wedding photography mode and bring a new set of AI tools to appeal to the buyers. Vivo V60 should get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that seems to be the trend for phones in the segment. Reports say the V60 launch could be on August 12 in the country.

The phone is likely to come with both IP68 and IP69 rating which makes it durable against dust and water to a certain range. Reports suggest the new Vivo phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset which is one grade higher over the 7 Gen 3 from the V50 model.

Redmi 15

Xiaomi is bringing a new Redmi budget phone to the Indian market called the Redmi 15. The new Redmi 15 model promises some exciting features, including the use of silicon carbon battery tech to pack a bigger unit inside the device. The new Redmi 15 launch in India is tipped for around August 19.

The brand is also using a Snapdragon chipset for the new Redmi phone and giving it sleek dimensions even for a device carrying a higher capacity of battery. Redmi 15 will also get features that are claimed to be segment-first and a dual rear camera setup.

Oppo K13 Turbo

Oppo is bringing its new K-series phone with the Turbo edition to the Indian market for the first time this month. We expect to see the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models introduced mid-August. These new phones are likely to sport an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and support for 1.5K resolution. The regular K13 Turbo could use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Turbo Pro could get the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The Oppo K13 Turbo price in India could start around Rs 27,000 and go further up to Rs 40,000 in the market.

Infinix GT 30 5G+

The Infinix GT series could get a new gaming model in the market with the launch of GT 30 5G+ being teased. The new device will come with GT shoulder triggers and feature LED lighting that can be customised. It will offer 90 fps support for games like BGMI and hopefully be powered by a reliable MediaTek Dimensity chipset to aid its gaming cause. The company has not shared more details about the GT 30 5G+ launch or its specs, but expect the new GT phone to start below Rs 20,000 when it is announced soon.
