Google Pixel 10 stands in the front of the similar looking Pixel 9 model
Google Pixel 10 has launched this week, and you get four models from the company yet again. But the regular Pixel 10 has grabbed our attention, because it is the most affordable Pixel 10 model in the lineup, focuses on a wide range of premium features, has Gemini AI like every other Pixel phone and still comes with the promise of delivering an experience with its Android version.
While we still wait for the iPhone 17 to launch (most likely next month), we decided to compare the Pixel 10 with its predecessor, Pixel 9 which not only shows you the visible changes but also gets you in-depth with the specifications and hardware offered by both the devices.

Google Pixel 10 has launched at Rs 79,999 for the base 256GB variant, which is the same as the Pixel 9 launch price in India.

Google Pixel 10 features a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate but no adaptive support for the screen. Pixel 9 also has the same display specs as its successor. Both the phones come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and back.
Google Pixel 10 vs Pixel 9 Hardware Specs
The Pixel 10 is powered by the new Tensor G5 chipset with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Pixel 9 got the Tensor G4 SoC, also paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Google’s new phone has launched with Android 16 out of the box, while the Pixel 9 was introduced with Android 14 version last year. Both get 7 OS upgrades and security update promises.
Google Pixel 10 vs Pixel 9 Cameras
The Pixel 9 last year came with a dual camera system of 50MP wide sensor and 48MP ultrawide lens. You also had a 10.5MP front shooter. This year’s Pixel 10 has been upgraded to a triple camera setup that now has a 50MP wide primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. The front of the device has the same 10.5MP camera.
Google Pixel 10 vs Pixel 9 Battery And Charging
Google Pixel 9 packs a 4,700mAh battery with 27W wired charging support, 15W wireless and 12W Qi wireless speed. While the Pixel 10 gets a bigger 4,970mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging speed and up to 15W with Qi 2 standard.
