25-year-old Karnataka batter Luvnith Sisodia, who was part of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025 but didn’t get a chance to play any match for the Ajinkya Rahane-led side, made headlines on Wednesday (August 20) for his super show with the bat. The left-handed batter opened the innings for Gulbarga Mystics in the 210-run chase against Mysore Warriors at Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar Ground in Mysore during the 19th league match of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 and hammered four back-to-back sixes in the first four balls of his team’s innings.

He opened his account by hitting a big shot down the ground off Krishnappa Gowtham’s bowling and then swept the next three balls as well for three maximums.

The video of Sisodia’s four maximums in a row was shared by Star Sports Kannada on X, and within no time, the clip went viral on the internet.

Sisodia, who was signed for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction last year, during his stay at the crease on Wednesday, faced 13 balls and, with the help of one four and five sixes, scored 37 runs.

His brilliant show with the bat helped Mystics chase down the target of 211 runs in 20 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Sisodia’s record in T20s

Sisodia has played a total of 15 T20 matches so far and has scored 124 runs in nine innings. His strike rate is 127.83. In the ongoing season of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, he has played seven matches and scored 165 runs with a strike rate of 201.22. The leftie batter has hammered 11 fours and 16 sixes so far.
