IndiGo to start direct flights from Mumbai to Tashkent, Almaty come September

IndiGo is set to launch direct flight operations from Mumbai to Uzbekistan’s Tashkent and Kazakhstan’s Almaty, the company said on Tuesday, August 12.

While the Tashkent operations are scheduled to begin from September 1, the Almaty flights will take off from September 2.

The airline will offer four flights in a week from Mumbai to these locations.

Earlier, the company started direct flights from Mumbai to Georgia’s Tbilisi from August 2.
IndiGo already has direct flights to these locations from Delhi. However, they were suspended temporarily due to airspace closure by Pakistan.
