The first T20I of the three-match series between Australia and South Africa is taking place at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin on Sunday, August 10. South African captain Aiden Markram won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first in the series opener, after which, riding on Tim David’s 83-run knock from 52 balls, the Aussies posted a total of 178 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs.

During his stay at the crease on Sunday, David hammered four fours and eight sixes for the Mitchell Marsh-led side. Of his eight sixes, two came against Corbin Bosch, and one of those two biggies by David was caught by a fan in the stands.

In a video going viral on the internet, the fan, who was carrying two beer cans in his right hand, completed the catch with his left, and after that catch, he drew big cheers from fans.

Here’s a look:

David, who scored a century in just 37 balls for the Aussies against the West Indies last month, added 59 runs for the seventh wicket with Ben Dwarshuis (17 runs from 19 balls) and 30 runs for the eighth wicket with Nathan Ellis (12 runs) to help Australia bounce back from 75/6 in 7.4 overs and reach 178/10.
