The festive season often brings higher spending on shopping, travel and household expenses, with banks and digital payment platforms offering cashback and rewards. However, the actual savings depend on eligibility criteria, spending thresholds, fees and redemption conditions.
Amazon Pay has listed offers across shopping, travel and digital payments during the Amazon Great Indian Festival.
Separately, BOBCARD is offering bonus Etihad Guest Miles to eligible new cardholders who meet specified spending requirements.

What consumers should check
Festive offers can help reduce the cost of planned purchases, but consumers should compare cashback and rewards with spending thresholds, joining fees and other applicable charges.
“Festive shopping offers consumers an opportunity to get more value from their planned purchases through credit card rewards, cashback and merchant offers. The key is to look beyond the headline discount and understand the actual savings, eligibility conditions and total cost of the purchase. Even with no-cost EMI, consumers should check processing fees, other applicable charges and the full repayment commitment, rather than judging affordability by the monthly instalment alone. A credit card’s real value lies in helping consumers access convenience and rewards while staying in control of their spending and repayments,” said Aditya Gupta, Founder & CEO, novio.
