When Jasprit Bumrah was seven, his father passed away due to Hepatitis B. His mother, Daljeet, raised both Jasprit and his sister Juhika on her own. Their neighbour last year revealed the time when the Bumrah family struggled for even a packet of milk. Amidst such trying circumstances, Jasprit developed passion for fast bowling and became, arguably, the greatest all-format fast bowler. Here’s his inspiring story:

Jasprit Bumrah developed his pin-point yorkers thanks to a condition laid down by his mother: As a kid, Bumrah would bowl inside the his home during summers. His mother would get disturbed by the noise and to ensure she got her afternoon nap, Bumrah had to bowl without making any noise.
