According to DMRC, the affected stations have been closed from 7:30 am until further notice. While passengers will not be able to enter or exit these stations, interchange services will be available at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat.
DMRC has also announced changes in the Airport Express Line, as the train services will be running only between Dhaula Kuan and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.
According to the DMRC, the 18 metro stations that will remain closed until further notice are Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhambha Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, Shivaji Stadium, Jhandewalan and New Delhi.

After several weeks of protests, CJP spokespersons Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das met Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh for discussions. During the meeting, CJP demanded ₹1 crore as compensation for the families of those who died by suicide after the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The party also repeated that the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan is non-negotiable.
The meeting, which took place at Vithalbhai Patel House, lasted around two hours. After the discussions ended, government officials said they will take 24 hours to decide further action.
