In a public notice issued on June 19, the embassy said that M/s Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC will take over outsourced consular services across the UAE starting July 1.
The transition marks the end of services currently handled by BLS International for passport and visa applications and SGIVS Global for attestation-related work.
Existing centres to stop accepting new applications
As part of the handover process, the current service providers will stop accepting new applications from the close of business on June 25, 2026.
The embassy also said that regular appointments for passport, visa and attestation services will not be available between June 26 and June 30. During this period, applicants will not be able to book routine appointments through the existing system.
The temporary pause is aimed at ensuring a smooth transition between the outgoing and incoming service providers.

Emergency services to remain available
While regular services will remain unavailable for five days, the embassy clarified that emergency consular assistance will continue during the transition period.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai will directly handle urgent passport, visa and attestation requests for applicants facing emergencies.
Indian nationals requiring emergency assistance can contact the authorities through the dedicated helpline, WhatsApp support and official email channels shared by the mission.
New appointment portal coming soon
The embassy said a new appointment portal for consular services will be launched by Al Hind Tours and Travel LLC before the new system becomes operational on July 1.
Applicants have also been advised to rely only on official communication channels and social media accounts of the Embassy of India and the Consulate General of India for updates regarding the transition.
The move is expected to affect thousands of Indian expatriates in the UAE who use outsourced centres for passport renewals, visa-related work and document attestation services.
