The Google Pixel 10 launch rumours are getting eerily close to the real deal, especially since the company has done the job for the leaksters by unveiling the official look of the new phones. And now, there are more details coming out, this time related to the new camera features that Google will offer with some AI surprises for the buyers.
A new report has leaked some of the new tools that will be powered by Google’s Gemini AI model and looks to change the way we capture photos once again.
Pixel 10 Camera Features: More AI Coming Our Way
One of the new features coming to Google Pixel 10 lineup is Camera coach, as highlighted in its report by Android Headlines. The AI-powered tool promises to help you get better with photography by giving you tips on what angle to shoot from, and tell you about the lighting effects. Google will rely on Gemini reading through the scene in front of the camera and let you get the best results based on what the AI model can see.
The other big addition to Pixel 10 camera will be the option to edit photos with the help of Gemini. It is called conversational photo editing, and you can use both text or voice prompts to make changes to your photos, depending on what you need. Gemini basically becomes your one-step on-device editor.
These two features have been highlighted in the report but we expect Google to bring more AI-ness to the new Pixel 10 series when it launches on August 20. The company has usually introduced new Pixel features to older devices at a later date but at least for now, we would expect the company to keep the Gemini AI camera tools exclusive to those buying the latest Pixel 10 models.
The new Pixel 10 model is widely tipped to come with a triple camera setup this year, while the other models get sensor upgrades to improve the quality of the images and videos. We’re sure to get more updates from Google as its teasers continue to mock rivals and showcase what is being lined up for the new phones.
