From Busan–Jeju to Kuala Lumpur–Singapore: Asia’s cheapest short-haul flight routes this summer

As the summer holiday season is approaching, digital travel platform Agoda has identified the most affordable flight routes for Indian travellers across Asia. Whether exploring exciting new destinations or revisiting a familiar holiday spot, finding the best deals remains crucial to maximising the holiday experience. Their most recent data offers insights into the routes and destinations that provide the best value for money without compromising experience.

Based on one-way bookings made between March and May for departures between June and August 2026, the cheapest domestic route is Bangalore–Goa, booked for ₹2,100. The most affordable international route is New Delhi–Dhaka, booked for ₹5,000.

For a cost-conscious vacation close to home, several short-haul Asian routes stand out. South Korea’s Busan–Jeju route is the most affordable at ₹765, followed by Kuala Lumpur–Penang at ₹957 and Phuket–Hat Yai also at ₹957. Other budget-friendly options include Bangalore–Goa at ₹2,105, Ho Chi Minh City–Tuy Hòa at ₹2,296, Fukuoka–Tokyo at ₹2,392, Jakarta–Bandar Lampung at ₹2,966, and Taichung–Penghu at ₹4,019.

For travellers with a higher budget, these short-haul flights remain popular value choices. Tokyo–Taipei is priced at ₹574, while Pekanbaru–Kuala Lumpur is booked at ₹1,531. Kuala Lumpur–Singapore stands at ₹1,627, and Phuket–Singapore at ₹2,201. Other routes include Taipei–Osaka at ₹3,157, Busan–Fukuoka at ₹3,253, Ho Chi Minh City–Kuala Lumpur at ₹3,253, and New Delhi–Dhaka at ₹5,071.
