The programme is open to travel and lifestyle creators with at least 10,000 followers who meet the company’s eligibility criteria. Through the initiative, creators will receive access to travel-related insights and content resources aimed at helping them create destination-focused content on platforms such as Instagram.
According to MakeMyTrip, creators participating in the programme will be rewarded based on the engagement generated by their content rather than the size of their follower base. The company said the model is intended to encourage participation from a wider range of creators, including those with smaller but highly engaged audiences.
The launch reflects the increasing role of social media in influencing travel decisions, with short-form videos and creator-generated content becoming key sources of travel inspiration for consumers.
Meta will support the programme by providing creator education resources, including learning modules, masterclasses and trend insights. Collective Artists Network’s creator platform Galleri5 will serve as the execution partner for the initiative.
As part of the rollout, MakeMyTrip and Meta recently hosted an awareness event attended by more than 100 travel and lifestyle creators to explain the programme and share content best practices.
The company said the initiative is designed to connect travellers with creator-led recommendations and practical travel information while offering creators additional monetisation opportunities based on audience engagement.
