Scapia launches Scapia Pay: How co-branded RuPay cards work with UPI for rewards

Scapia, a travel fintech platform in India, has launched Scapia Pay, an in-app UPI payments service that allows users to earn rewards on transactions made using Scapia co-branded RuPay credit cards. The service aims to integrate everyday payments, credit, and travel rewards within a single platform.

With Scapia Pay, users can link their Scapia Federal RuPay and Scapia BOBCARD RuPay credit cards to the app for instant UPI payments and earn rewards on qualifying transactions. The app also offers features such as a custom UPI ID for privacy, first-time payment alerts, high-value transaction notifications, and consolidated spend tracking across contacts and merchants.

The platform additionally provides tools such as intelligent suggested contacts, favourites with keyword tags, and one-click credit card linking. These are designed to simplify payment management and offer users greater visibility over their spending.
The launch comes amid the continued growth of UPI in India, which processed approximately 20 billion transactions in February 2026. Scapia’s updates coincide with its 2026 Spring Release, which includes additional features such as two-click credit card bill payments via Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), customised holiday planning, and expanded travel options including international airport privileges and new bus routes.

Scapia has expanded its ecosystem from travel-first credit offerings to a multi-category platform encompassing flights, buses, trains, stays, visas, experiences, and financial services. The company works with banks such as Federal Bank and BOBCARD to provide co-branded credit cards that can be used domestically and internationally.

Scapia Pay and the broader Spring Release suite are now available through the Scapia app and website.
