While some viewers described the film as “average” or “subpar,” fans were quick to hail it as a hit. Many agreed that Chiranjeevi’s classic comic timing and energetic screen presence remain the film’s biggest strengths and standout elements.

One post on X reads: “One Word – EXCELLENT FILM Chiranjeevi THE BOSS IS BACK Nayanthara is PERFECT Apt For this Role. AnilRavipudi Knows FAMILY pulse. VenkyMama Comedy Works Well. GetsCinema – Reached – HYPEMETER – 90 per cent.”

One more X user wrote, “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu proves it loud & clear — when Megastar #Chiranjeevi garu’s grace leads, theatres don’t just run… they celebrate. Pure mass with class, emotions with entertainment. This one is meant for the big screen.”

A netizen wrote, “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is an Average Comedy Entertainer that is carried by Chiru’s performance but only entertains in parts! The first half is passable and brings out Chiru’s comedy timing after a long gap. However, the second half, which starts on a decent note, falters with repetitive comedy that doesn’t land, an ineffective villain track, and the much-hyped Venky sequence that feels superficial and fails to make an impact. The comedy works in parts but feels artificial in other portions.”

Another review reads: “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad No Content, No logics, Just Fun in Some Moments with an Ordinary Story. Families will Connect, AnilRavipudi- Consistency on Family comedy drama is good. Chiranjaeevi- One Man Show”

Alongside, Chiranjeevi, Mana Shankara, Vara Prasad Garu also stars Nayanthara, Venkatesh and Catherine Tresa. The film is backed by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela.
