Grand Theft Auto 6 or GTA 6 release has become a well-documented news and the delays have annoyed millions who can’t wait to play the new title. But recently, rumours were floating around GTA 6 release is facing further issues and could be pushed to 2027 now which was always going to irk the users even more.

There have been some posts that claim Rockstar Games is going to further push the GTA 6 launch and people have shared their frustration about the rumour this week. 

GTA 6 Release Delayed Till 2027 Rumours Decoded 

GTA 6 comes from Rockstar Games and one of the reliable sources from the developer has rubbished the rumours around its delay to 2027. “This is total BS, I can confirm that GTA 6 is still too far out to determine if another delay is needed yet. 

These people are just stirring the pot for engagement. If I hear rumblings of another delay I will let you know but for now stop believing this crap,” he shared a post on X denying the concerns around GTA 6 launch beyond 2026. 

Social media posts and rumours these days have become an easy source of making a quick buck and farming engagement with posts like GTA 6 delay go a far way in getting people to believe. The source is adamant that GTA 6 development has gone too far beyond the point for Rockstar Games to delay its release any further. So we are hoping the developer doesn’t need to push its launch timeline any more. 

The GTA VI video with the purported demo was spotted on the internet earlier this month and reports claim the leak came from one of the former employees over at Rockstar Games. 

It is intriguing the leak is from someone closely involved with developing the game and this comes a few weeks after the company confirmed the GTA 6 launch delay from May to November 2025. The demo video also gives us a closer look at the characters and some level of storyline that will have people satiating for more. 

The popular title has already seen multiple delays which has pushed its release to 2026 after its early promise of releasing before the end of 2025 assuring the quality of the game is of utmost importance before its availability.
