The Galaxy S26 series launch is widely tipped for late February next year which is already delayed than the 2025 launch event. And now the company could be joining other brands over its concerns for the product prices. 

We are already seeing the impact of RAM shortage on the market with phone prices shooting way past their previous levels. Samsung is also in a quandary about how to price its flagship models, especially as Apple continues to see its premium iPhones selling big.

However, a new report suggests the company is going to find it hard to sell a product with minimum upgrades as the market goes forward with new hardware in 2026. 

The Galaxy S26 series is likely to have three models, with the regular, S26 Plus and the S26 Ultra making the lineup. The chances of the S26 Edge coming are extremely slim. But the overall planning has taken a hit because of the cost of manufacturing the models, which invariably hints at a major price bump being the most likely outcome.

The report from South Korea also claims that Samsung could play this card to gain higher margins which could be a dangerous game to experiment with at a time when the market might contract.
