OnePlus is already planning for a big 2026 and the latest product could have a massive battery among other features.
OnePlus is going to start the battery frenzy in 2026
The OnePlus 15 and 15R are already out in the market and the company is already busy working on its new device which many say is likely to be the first Turbo model. The brand has confirmed the new lineup without sharing the details but a new leak this week gives the possible specs of the Turbo or even a new Nord phone.
Launching the flagship series already for 2026 means OnePlus has more room to introduce other products and it seems the next is also going to be a phone which should be sitting below the 15 series in the market for buyers.
OnePlus Turbo Phone Tipped: What To Expect
The details about the rumoured OnePlus Turbo phone has been shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav with his post on X. He claims the OnePlus phone is meant to launch in the global and Indian market, and it has been codenamed “Volkswagen.”
That’s not all, the tipster has talked about the brand using the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, most likely with up to 12GB RAM and but bigger news is the prospect of seeing OnePlus launch a phone with a massive 9,000mAh battery that will offer 80W fast charging support.
The post also highlights the OnePlus phone will be carrying a 6-inches OLED display with 165Hz refresh rate like the flagship 15 series models. And the OnePlus device will have a dual rear camera system like the recently launched OnePlus 15R version.
The Turbo series will surely be one to keep an eye on, but it just feels OnePlus could use the same strategy like its Ace series, and possibly launch this new device in global markets and India as a new Nord series phone.
This will allow the company to sell both the Nord and its R number series devices among buyers without confusing them with identical hardware features. Sitting below the OnePlus 15R means this one could be priced around Rs 35,000 in the market.
We are going to see a lot of phones with powerbank-like battery packs in 2026 and OnePlus could be one of the many brands to make good use of the silicon carbon grade technology.
