Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 is confirmed to launch in India early next year and the company will be hoping its popular lineup can kickstart a big 2026 for its ambitions. Xiaomi has made broad changes to its phone lineup, but the Redmi Note 15 becomes an important product to show that it still is a big force in the market. Many people are eager to know how Xiaomi plans to sell the Redmi Note 15 and a new leak has given us some idea about how the new phone will be priced in the country.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Price In India Leak

The Redmi Note 15 launch in India is on January 6, 2026 and the price leak comes via tipster named Abhishek Yadav, who claims the Redmi Note 15 will cost Rs 22,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant in India. He also points out that the higher 8GB + 256GB model will cost Rs 24,999 in the country. These Redmi Note 15 prices are not official and we would rather wait till the company shares its details.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 India Specifications Expected

Redmi Note 15 will get a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, as mentioned on a product microsite from the brand. The device will come with IP66 rating for dust and water resistance. Xiaomi is calling it the 108 MasterPixel edition which hints at a 108MP primary camera at the back. The phone is tipped to pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W charging support.

We also hope Xiaomi can deliver the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 version for the Redmi Note 15 model in India rather than offering the HyperOS 2 version.

Xiaomi priced the Redmi Note 14 series at a much higher level but hopefully the new Redmi Note 15 series shows it has worked on those concerns and sells at a more appealing price.

The HyperOS 3 update is now coming to the 2023 Xiaomi 14 series, along with the premium Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet. Interestingly, the 14 Ultra model is absent from the list. You also have last year’s Redmi Note 14 and Redmi 13 added to the list, along with the Poco F7 and M7 Pro models. The company is bringing HyperOS 3 to more devices in the next few weeks.
