OnePlus 15R and Pad Go 2 tablet have launched in India and other regions and here are all the details, including their prices
OnePlus 15R is the new premium mid-range phone with a new chipset
The OnePlus 15R and the new Pad Go 2 tablet have launched in India this week, giving buyers more options if they want a not-so-premium phone and a mid-range Android tablet with 5G support. These two devices sit in a popular price segment, and both are expected to give a strong shout against its rivals in the respective categories.
OnePlus 15R goes for the new Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset, while the Pad Go 2 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. These both get the Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 out of the box with a long support promise.
OnePlus 15R And OnePlus Pad Go 2 Price In India
OnePlus 15R price in India starts at Rs 47,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant, going up to Rs 52,999 for the higher 16GB + 512GB variant. The phone will go on sale from December 22 in the country.
The price of the OnePlus Pad Go 2 in India is set at Rs 26,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, while the higher 256GB model costs Rs 29,999. If you want the 5G version, the Pad Go 2 comes for Rs 32,999. The tablet in India will be available from December 18.
OnePlus 15R And OnePlus Pad Go 2 Specifications
OnePlus 15R gets a 6.78-inch AMOLED 1.5K display with support for up to 165Hz refresh rate like its flagship cousin. The device will also get IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the first time. The design is quite identical to the 15 but has two cameras in the module.
OnePlus is using the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset to power the 15R with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. You also get the new OxygenOS 16 version to be offered out of the box with promise of 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
OnePlus 15R comes with a dual rear camera system which includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front has a 32MP shooter with 4K video recording support and autofocus support. The 15R packs the biggest battery from the brand at 7,400mAh with support for 80W wired charging speed.
The Pad Go 2 tablet goes for a bigger 12.1-inch display with 284ppi, Dolby Vision support and 900 nits of peak brightness. The design is fairly simple with the OnePlus branding right in the middle and the camera sitting on the top-right.
The tablet uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. OnePlus Pad Go 2 gets a single camera at the back and front. It is also going to be the first from the brand to get 5G support and you have Stylo working with the budget tablet.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 comes with a big 10,050mAh battery that supports 33W charging speed and gets reverse charging support as well.
