Realme 16 Pro is launching soon and the company is now starting its full hype reveal phase for the product. Realme has even set up a microsite that gives more details about the device, including its design and the new camera layout at the back.
The Realme 16 Pro launch is likely to continue the trend of overpriced phones that seems unavoidable will all the demand for memory chips and brands facing a shortage. The price hike is easy to digest when the upgrades are relevant and meaningful. Realme is calling it the portrait master which suggests a powerful telephoto lens on board.
Realme 16 Pro Design Revealed: What We Know
Realme 16 Pro most likely gets a textured panel along with a matte finish over glass which should give it the premium touch. The company is going to use a Snapdragon chipset which could be the 7 Gen 4 series or even the 8 Gen 5 if the product is really eyeing that segment. The camera layout seems to have been borrowed from the OnePlus 15, except the orientation has been changed by Realme for its device.
The phone is going to feature a sleek body but should come packing with a silicon carbon grade battery.
The company is offering Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 with the 16 Pro that is promised to get 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. The software will also have AI features integrated with the likes of AI Edit genie 2.0 to create and edit images.
The segment is also getting another strong product early next year in the form of Redmi Note 15 and it is launching in India soon. The new phone has been teased this week as Xiaomi looks to start 2026 with a big launch within the first week itself. The Redmi Note 15 series made its debut in China but we can expect Xiaomi to make some tweaks for the Indian model.
