OnePlus 15R launch teaser has come in the form of the Ace 6T
The OnePlus Ace 6T has launched in China this week and many expect this to be the OnePlus 15R variant that will be announced in India later this month. The Ace 6T is also the first to use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset which caters to the affordable flagship phone segment.
The new OnePlus phone comes with a dual rear camera system, has multiple IP ratings for protection and packs a massive battery which has become a trend with the silicon carbon grade technology. The Ace 6T is going to be limited to the China market while its rebranded OnePlus 15 model could get global availability.
OnePlus Ace 6T Price
OnePlus Ace 6T price in China starts at CNY 2,599 (Rs 32,900 approx) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. It goes all the way up to CNY 3,699 for the highest 16GB + 1TB variant. The OnePlus 15R price in India could be at least Rs 12,000 more than the Ace 6T going by the trends from brands launching phones in the last few months.

So what can people expect the OnePlus 15R to offer when it launches in India this month? The Ace 6T features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 165Hz refresh rate like the flagship variant. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 version (not 8 Elite) with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. You get it with the Android 16-based ColorOS 6 version in China but the Indian variant will have OxygenOS 16 running out of the box.
The Ace 6T carries a dual camera system which includes a 50MP sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front gets a 16MP shooter. The Act 6T packs a massive 8,300mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging speed and still measures at 8.30mm and weighs 217 grams. The device comes with IP66, IP68, IP69 and even the IP69K rating this year which gives it extra protection against dust and water.
We are eager to see the OnePlus 15R announced in India on December 17, and expect the new model to have a competitive price tag for buyers in the country.
