Mumbai Metro Line 3 services back to normal after brief technical snag at Siddhivinayak


Services on Mumbai Metro’s Line 3 (Aqua Line) returned to normal on Tuesday, November 25, after a brief disruption caused by a technical issue in one of the trains at Siddhivinayak station.

The incident led to a 10-minute halt, after which the snag was resolved.

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) said, “All services are now operating smoothly and as per the scheduled timetable. Operations across the line are normal. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”

Earlier, the corporation noted, “Due to a technical issue in one train at Siddhivinayak station, services were briefly halted for approximately 10 minutes… trains are currently running with a delay of about 5 to 10 minutes. Our teams are closely monitoring operations, and normal services are expected to resume shortly.”

This is the second such technical issue on the corridor in recent months. In early October, just days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi was set to inaugurate the final stretch of the Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ Metro-3 corridor, a train had broken down near Santacruz due to a technical snag.
