Udaipur hosts Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju’s lavish wedding with Donald Trump Jr., Jennifer Lopez, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, and others at The Leela Palace and City Palace.

Udaipur is set to host one of its most extravagant celebrations of the year as global stars, political VIPs and Bollywood A-listers gather for the four-day wedding of US-based industrialist Raju Ramalinga Mantena’s daughter, Netra Mantena, who is marrying NRI tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju.
The city began buzzing on Friday night when Donald Trump Jr. landed in Udaipur and travelled under tight security to The Leela Palace, the primary venue for the festivities. Hours earlier, filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Varun Dhawan had arrived, joining a long list of high-profile attendees.
According to locals assisting with the arrangements, nearly 600 guests are expected, including Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kriti Sanon, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Global pop icon Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to arrive later tonight.
The celebrations opened with a musical night at Zenana Mahal inside Udaipur’s City Palace. Dutch DJ-producer Tiesto kicked off the entertainment at The Leela Palace a day earlier, complemented by spirited performances from Rajasthani folk dancers and Manganiyar musicians.
The Leela Palace has been transformed for the event — draped in an opulent red theme, with massive floral arrangements, ornate chandeliers, plush red seating, patterned cushions and golden lamps, evoking the grandeur of a royal court. Other wedding venues, including Manek Chowk, Zenana Mahal, and Jagmandir, are decorated on a similarly lavish scale.
Security across Udaipur has been significantly tightened for the high-profile gathering.
The wedding itinerary spans four days:
- Haldi: November 22
- Wedding Ceremony: Morning of November 23 at Jagmandir
- Reception: Evening of November 23
- Guest Departure: November 24 via chartered flights from Dabok Airport
Ahead of reaching Udaipur, Trump Jr. visited the Taj Mahal in Agra and Vantara wildlife rescue centre in Jamnagar on Thursday.
With Hollywood stars, Bollywood royalty and global billionaires in attendance, Udaipur is preparing for one of its most dazzling wedding spectacles in recent memory.
