Sony brings a special Black Friday sale to India this week and you can use this chance to get a good discount on the PlayStation 5 console. The sale is starting from later this week and goes on till early December wherein you can buy consoles, games or even accessories with attractive discounts. But if you missed out on getting the PS 5 console in the earlier sales, you have got another chance to own one.
Sony Black Friday Sale In India: Discounts Galore
The Sony Black Friday sale lets you buy the PS 5 physical or digital edition for Rs 49,990 and Rs 44,990, respectively. The Rs 5,000 price discount on the console could be useful as you can get other controllers or games for the balance amount. The DualSense controllers come with a Rs 2,000 discount while the Edge version of the controller costs Rs 3,000 less than its usual price.
That’s not all, even the PS VR 2 model comes with a Rs 10,000 discount that lets you buy the console for just Rs 34,999. And finally, the PS Portal device is going to be available for Rs 16,990. The sale also includes games like Astro Bot, Spider Man 2 by Marvel and more
The Sony Black Friday offer starts from November 21, 2025 and will go on till December 5 in the country.
Sony has seen big success with the PlayStation 5 series consoles with millions picking up the device. And the company is already starting with the development of the PS6 which has brought concerns about the shelf life of the PS 5 model and how long the company will sell the version in the market.
The PS 5 Pro model did not launch in India for technical reasons, which means the original PS5 is still the best bet in the country, at least through official channels. The brand does not intend to phase out the older version right away and give people some time to grab a unit, probably for a better deal than usual.
