Unlike the viral moment, the match was one-sided, with Pakistan Shaheens securing an eight-wicket victory in the sixth Group B fixture of the tournament. Chasing a modest target of 137, they completed the task in just 13.2 overs, demonstrating their dominance in both batting and bowling. The standout performer was opener Maaz Sadaqat, who delivered an exceptional all-round performance. He scored an unbeaten 79 off 47 balls, which included seven boundaries and four sixes. Earlier, he had also contributed with the ball, taking 2 for 12 and setting the tone for the bowling attack.

Pakistan lost only two wickets in their chase. Mohammad Naeem was dismissed for 14 by Yash Thakur with the score at 55/1. The second wicket fell when Suyash Sharma removed Yasir Khan for 11. Despite these minor setbacks, the Shaheens remained in control as Maaz confidently guided the chase.

India A’s innings was a mixed performance. They started positively after being put in to bat, with Vaibhav Suryavanshi scoring 45 off 28 and Naman Dhir contributing 35 off 20. However, after their dismissals, the batting line-up collapsed. Regular wickets fell as players like Priyansh Arya (10), Nehal Wadhera (8), Jitesh Sharma (5), Ashutosh Sharma (0), and Ramandeep Singh (11) failed to build partnerships. The team was bowled out for 136 in 19 overs, not fully utilising their allotted overs. For Pakistan, Shahid Aziz was the most effective bowler, taking 3 for 24 and ensuring India never gained momentum.
