Mohammed Siraj shattered the stumps as he dismissed Simon Harmer on day three of the first Test of the two-match series between India and South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.
Siraj clean bowled Harmer as the off stump was broken in half by the sheer pace of the Indian speedster.

Siraj bowled it angling back into the right-hander on a good length as Harmer opted to leave it and it was a poor leave. The top half of the off stump was knocked off owing to Harmer’s error in judging the line. The South African left the delivery destined to hit the stumps as the ball snuck past his front pad to crash into the top of the off stump.

South Africa set India a 124-run victory target in the first Test after extending their second innings to 153 on day three.
South Africa performed well to surpass 150 on a challenging pitch, having resumed the day at 93 for seven.
Proteas captain Temba Bavuma scored the first fifty of the game, remaining unbeaten with 55 off 136 balls, including four boundaries.
Ravindra Jadeja was the standout bowler for India, taking 4/50.
India are without their regular skipper Shubman Gill, who was ruled out of the remainder of the Kolkata Test due to a neck injury sustained on the second day’s play at the Eden Gardens.
