Google’s Nano Banana AI image model has been a big hit as millions have generated their styles using the AI tech. And now, the company could be about to unleash the Nano Banana 2 version and the internet is eager to see how the new model improves on the quality and accuracy.
Some have even claimed that Nano Banana 2 could be announced as early as this week by Google, and many are excited about the potential of what they can create and how realistic they might look to the eye.

Reports say the new Nano Banana 2 version will help you generate charts, infographics with the help of prompts from the users. More importantly, Google could let you download them in higher resolutions and also change the ratio to 9:16 or 16:9 so that people can tweak the image styles based on portraits and landscape visuals.
Nano Banana 2 could also build on the power to generate images depicting famous people like US President Donald Trump or a sportsperson. These could be customised to appear in a different background, again with the help of creative prompts.
In addition to Nano Banana 2 Google could bring the Gemini 3.0 version soon, and it has already teamed up with Jio to offer its premium Gemini AI Pro plan free of cost for users in India for 18 months. This offer goes up against ChatGPT Go free offer in the country as well as the Perplexity Pro AI offer with Airtel.
Gemini is also making its way to Maps for users in India. The Gemini side of the update allows Maps users to ask contextual questions regarding their search on the platform and the AI will do the heavy lifting to give you the best response.
For instance, you want to find a gas station near you, or find a restaurant that has a select palate and menu as per your preference. Google is also giving users the option to link Gemini with other apps to broaden its use behind the wheels.
