iPhone Pocket from Apple is made from a cloth and it hangs on the shoulder or straps to your bag.
Apple has launched a new iPhone Pocket accessory and here’s what it does
iPhone Pocket is the latest addition to Apple’s unique accessory collection that allows you to hang the iPhone on the shoulder like a purse. Many reports suggested the company might launch the new HomePod Mini or the Apple TV 4K model but instead we get a purse for the iPhone that costs $229.95 (Rs 26,000 approx) and will be available as a limited edition product.
It comes in multiple bright colours and there is a shorter version which costs less than the full option and can be strapped around the arm.
Apple iPhone Pocket: What’s Special?
Apple claims the iPhone Pocket has been inspired by a piece of cloth, and initially we weren’t sure if that was the correct statement but it seems to be. The company has wanted to create an additional pocket for the iPhone and other small items which is the origin of this new Apple accessory.
The company is limiting its launch to select countries like the UK, US, France, Japan and you need to visit the Apple Store in the region to grab one. But India has missed the cut for now.
Any way to explain this product will sound strange so we’ll stick to what the company plans to do with it and feel that it has enough buyers willing to pay the $229.95 for the full and $149.95 for the half version of the iPhone Pocket.
Brands usually follow Apple’s path and bring new features to other platforms. Even then, we don’t expect the iPhone Pocket to catch up and become a wider available product, unless you are happy trying out the cheap knock offs.
The Pocket launch brought back memories of the Apple Cloth accessory which is literally just a cloth that can be used for cleaning devices and it costs Rs 1,780 doing that and probably the Apple premium.
