GTA 6 Release Date: The GTA 6 release has been further delayed by the developer and this has been confirmed via another apologetic post from Rockstar Games this week. The popular title has already seen multiple delays which has pushed its release to 2026 after its early promise of releasing before the end of 2025 but the game developer has come out with the bad news for the excited gamers once again.  

With its large setting, two protagonists, and improved gameplay mechanics, Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be one of the most ambitious games ever made and will revolutionise open-world gaming. In fact, the GTA 6 trailers in the last few months have revealed the action sequences, the graphics upgrades and more in front of the world. 

GTA 6 Launch Delayed Even More: What The Company Has Said 

The GTA 6 release date has been pushed from May 2026 to November 2026. Rockstar Games, the developer behind the popular GTA franchise claims the extra months are needed to make the game better and it promises to finish the game with the extra level of polish that millions expect.

We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

We want to thank you again for your patience and support. While the wait is a little longer, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern day Vice City.

GTA 6 Release Date, Gameplay And Price

Now that the GTA 6 release has been pushed to November 2026, the GTA 6 release in India could align with the global availability. GTA 6 price in India will be higher than last versions due to its high development and production expenditures.

Special variants may cost up to Rs 7,299 or $100, while the basic edition is expected to cost around Rs 5,999 in India and $70 in the USA. Official details have not yet been verified; however, these editions might come with collectibles and exclusive in-game benefits.

Reports say retailers in the USA and India are preparing for high demand as GTA 6 becomes available for pre-order closer to its release date. The GTA 6 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will be the game’s initial platforms, with a PC version anticipated later.
