Several Air India flights departure delayed due to third-party connectivity network issue

The departure of several Air India flights was delayed on Wednesday (November 5) due to third-party connectivity network issue.

The airline said a third-party connectivity network issue had impacted check-in systems at some airports, thereby delaying flight departures. While the system was restored, some flights experienced delays.

The airline asked passengers to check their flight status.
“A third-party connectivity network issue had impacted check-in systems at some airports, thereby delaying flight departures of some airlines, including Air India. The system has since been restored. However, some of our flights may continue to be delayed for some time as the situation normalises progressively. Passengers flying with us today may check their flight status before heading to the airport and allow extra time for their journey,” Air India said in a post on X.

While the carrier did not disclose details about the airports where the check-in systems were affected, PTI reported most of the domestic airports were impacted, and the check-in systems were down at the various airports for more than an hour.
