iQOO 15 is finally official in China this month and it has the new flagship hardware and Android 16-based OriginOS 6 version.
iQOO 15 is the new flagship device to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
iQOO 15 has made its debut in China this week and now the new model is expected to be unveiled in the Indian market next month. iQOO 15 is one of the first devices to come with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and most of the features make it a strong flagship model that could give others a solid run for the money.
In addition to the premium chip, iQOO is also upgraded with a triple camera setup, a fast charging battery and other nifty features. iQOO 15 is also the first from the Vivo family to come with the OriginOS 6 version out of the box.
iQOO 15 Price In China
iQOO 15 price starts at CNY 4,199 (Rs 51,900 approx) which gets you the base 12GB + 256GB variant. The iQOO 15 is launching in 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB and up to 16GB with 1TB storage variants in the region. The phone will be going on sale in China later this month. We are eager to see how the iQOO 15 is priced in India when it launches in November.
iQOO 15 Specifications: Flagship Killer?
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new with the iQOO 15 model. It features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and offers 2K screen resolution. iQOO claims to have tuned the panel for gaming with improved touch response rate in the gaming mode.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. You also have a Q3 gaming chip packed under the hood. The device gets the new Android 16-based OriginOS 6 version out of the box which was expected and will be coming to India as well.
iQOO 15 comes with a triple camera setup where you have a 50MP wide primary sensor, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The device packs a large 7,000mAh battery which we expected but even then you get an 8.10mm thin device weighing around 220 grams. The unit supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging speeds this year.
