Home Minister Amit Shah has officially announced his new email ID and also declared his decision to move to Made in India Zoho Mail platform. The big reveal has been confirmed via a post on X on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Where he also shares the new Zoho email ID that can be used for future correspondence.

The Home Minister also asked all the future emails to be sent on the new email ID that has been mentioned in the latest post on X this week.
Amit Shah is the latest from the PM Modi government to sign up for Zoho-based platforms, the latest being Zoho Mail which is a Gmail and Microsoft Outlook rival from India. One of the senior most government official joining Zoho Mail is likely to have a chain effect across different authorities in the next few days, as the hype moves into actionable decisions.
Zoho’s Arattai is the messaging app which is getting a lot of traction after PM Modi’s pitch for Swadeshi tech got more mileage and attention for made in India apps in recent weeks.
Sridhar Vembu, Founder, Zoho has been making the headlines with his updates around varied Zoho platforms, including Arattai and its supposed lack of end-to-end encryption for chats but supported for video and voice calls on Android and iOS devices.
