Motorola is bringing Android 16 update to some of its recent devices
Motorola is the latest brand to confirm its Android 16 update rollout plan for its Moto phones in the Indian market. The new Android version is already available with other brands and now Motorola is offering its own version for select Motorola phones that have launched in recent times.

Understandably, Motorola is focusing on the premium Edge series devices first with the phased rollout likely to include other models later.
Motorola Android 16 Update Starts: These Devices Get It First In India
Motorola’s Android 16 update is coming to these devices in India for starters:
- Motorola Edge 60 Pro
- Motorola Edge 60 Fusion
- Motorola Edge 50 Pro
The company has said the Android 16 update will be rolling out in a phased manner, which is why it has only included three devices for now. Other Motorola devices will be added to the Android 16 update list gradually.
Motorola Android 16 Update: New Features Coming
Motorola has shared the list of features that its users can expect with the Android 16 update and some of them can be quite useful for many. You will definitely see the apps launching faster with the new design.
The new notification auto grouping will allow users to manage their app alerts better. The new version also enhances the use of Bluetooth LE devices especially when you are in a noisy space.
The Android 16 update also makes connecting to the internet seamless across different devices signed in with the same Google account. Apple has done something similar for its devices where you can connect to a Wi-Fi network without needing to sign in with a password on all of them.
The company is also bringing Modes which defines the purpose and behaviour of the user, like sleeping, driving or even working. The alerts will be handled based on the mode you enable.
