Google launched the Pixel 10 Pro Fold earlier this year but we had to wait till October to see the new foldable go on sale in India and other regions. The new Pixel Fold is the first to come with IP68 rating, which not even Samsung offers. However, the company has focused on making a durable, solid device that may not be winning any awards being light or thin anytime soon.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the lightest, thinnest model from the company. It has the hardware, design and even the build quality to match its Premiumness. The new Fold 7 is priced close to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold but has pretty much everything better than Google’s foldable and should be in your consideration.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also a good option that gets camera-loaded hardware. The Leica-powered camera system is a big highlight but you also have the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a large battery and a premium design.

Vivo’s X Fold 5 is the obvious option here and it costs much less than Samsung and Google’s new foldables. You get LTPO displays on the cover and the main unit, the chipset is slightly old but still performs better than the Tensor G5, and you have a capable camera system. The biggest highlight is the 6,000mAh battery packed into a sleek and light device.

Yes, the Pro XL in the Pixel 10 series is a solid alternative to the foldable. It has a big 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with 3K screen resolution supported. The same Tensor G5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage available. And it even has a better 50MP triple camera system than the 10 Pro Fold, while on the front, the Pro models come with a 42MP selfie camera as well.

And yes, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is another strong choice for the non-foldable section. You get a large Super Retina display, the new orange colour is a big attraction and the upgraded 48MP triple camera setup offers a lot of more for users.
