Samsung tri-fold launch is expected in the next few weeks and it seems the company is bullish about its quality and value

Samsung’s tri-fold device could be coming to more countries
Samsung’s tri-foldable device has been in the news lately which suggests its official debut is not far away. In fact, many expected the product to be showcased by now but some delays internally may have forced the company to change its plans.
And latest reports claim Samsung could be eager to launch its new model not just in select regions but multiple countries. The rumoured name for the device has been tipped to be Galaxy G Fold and more recently, there have been loud noises around the name Galaxy Z Tri-Fold.
Samsung Galaxy Tri-Fold Launch: More Than One?
The report from Sammobile suggests the company could look beyond China and South Korea for its tri-foldable device launch. It further claims UAE and USA could be part of the wider launch plans for this unique device. Coming to these countries makes sense as it looks to rival Huawei’s two-gen tri-folds by going for a wider release. We don’t expect India to be part of this list but Samsung could spring a surprise.
Samsung first teased the tri-fold device during the Galaxy S25 launch in January this year, and since then we got rumours about its name which could be Galaxy G Fold series.
The first tri-fold device is now reportedly going to be launched around October-end or early November, as mentioned previously in a report by ETNews.
Samsung’s tri-fold device is still a mystery at least in terms of the features and hardware but a new leak has hinted at its possible launch price. The details from South Korea suggest the Samsung tri-fold price could be around $3,000 (Rs 2.56 lakh approx) which takes it into the Apple Vision Pro territory. The device is likely to come with a triple camera setup and a three-battery setup as well.
Huawei showed us what a tri-fold device can offer, especially when you unfold them. You get a smartphone as well as a 10-inch screen like a tablet packing into one product. Tecno has beaten Samsung by showcasing its concept tri-fold model back in July and will be part of MWC 2026 in Barcelona next year.
