Vivo is finally bringing the OriginOS 6 version to India and other regions outside of China with the promise of a cleaner and smoother platform.

OriginOS has been exclusive to China but now it is going global
Vivo has done it. The Funtouch OS version is giving way for its China-exclusive OriginOS 6 skin for the global markets, including India. Both Vivo and iQOO will be offering the new OriginOS version for its latest and current devices.
The Vivo X300 series and the iQOO 15 will be the first ones to get it out of the box, while the X200 models along with iQOO 13 are now offering OriginOS 6 beta versions. We’re taking a closer look at what the new OriginOS 6 version offers and how it fares in comparison to the outgoing Funtouch OS version.
OriginOS 6 Version Unveiled, Coming To India Soon
The first thing you notice with the OriginOS 6 version is the Liquid glass nature of the interface. Apple has been the benchmark for most non Stock Android players, and Vivo is the latest to take some cues for its own platform.
Vivo claims besides the visual changes you will notice improved stability with the new OS, the battery life seems to have been optimised and you get a new set of AI features baked into the platform.
We have got a close look at the new OriginOS 6 version with official teasers and there are a lot of similarities with the Chinese firmware which is not a bad thing. The main difference is that you do get the Android suite pre-loaded into the global variants that will be available with the new phones as well as the older models.
The design elements will be complimented by the better use of the hardware of the Vivo devices. Vivo claims the app launches will be 11 percent faster than before which can only be vouched for after taking the new version for a drive. The animations have been smoothened so that you get faster responses for touch and other inputs.
The company also points out that the Vivo phones will see changes with the battery life once you have the OriginOS 6 version running. It promises better power management and improves the background usage to keep the battery drain to a minimum.
Like every other new software version coming out, Vivo is bringing a host of AI features. You can now erase objects from Live Photos through the photo gallery. You also have an AI-powered memory hub to keep notes, organise them, something that OnePlus and Nothing offer with Mind Space and Essential Space, respectively.
