Vivo X300 is launching soon and the company is making some tall claims about the new camera setup and features.

Vivo X300 is likely to debut in the next few weeks
Vivo X300 series is launching soon and the company is looking to hype the product with claims about some industry-first features. The previous X100 and X200 series have shown marked improvements even though we didn’t get to see or use the X200 Ultra close up. Now the company is looking to get better with video recording, and it says even the new iPhone 17 Pro doesn’t offer that support.
These claims are big and Vivo will need to prove them strongly, especially when you compare the quality with the premium iPhone Pros that have been the standard for video recording for years.
Vivo X300 Flagship Camera Expected: Will It Deliver?
Vivo says the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset powering the X300 will support cinematic portrait video recording at 4K 60 fps which is going to be a first for both Android and not even available with the latest iPhone 17 Pro models.
The brand says its current X200 and the new iPhone 17 series only support 4K at 30fps which does feel like a big deal, especially when you beat Apple to a feature. The company is likely to share more details about the new camera setup for the X300 in the next few days, and now we are eager to hear more.
The X-series Zeiss camera setup has excited us with its quality and versatility, something that we explored during our time in Vietnam a few years back. If the X300 is the ideal successor, we expect Ultra-level imaging performance and as reports claim, the first phone to feature not one but two 200MP cameras in the module.
The X300 series is likely to make its debut in China next month, followed by its launch in India and other regions. It should have the regular X300 paired alongside the X300 Pro and the X300 Ultra variants.
The Zeiss optics lenses have evolved with every iteration and the X300 should pack some heavy duty optics range, including variable aperture and advanced periscope telephoto lens among others. Having said that, all these upgrades are likely to come at a cost and that’s where brands like Vivo competing with Apple find it tough.
