IndiGo announces direct flights between Mumbai and Copenhagen starting October 8

Budget airline IndiGo is enhancing its European network by launching new flights between Mumbai and Copenhagen (Denmark). From October 8, the airline will operate thrice-weekly flights on the route using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft acquired on wet-lease from Norse Atlantic Airways.

This expansion marks Copenhagen as IndiGo’s 44th international and 138th overall destination, significantly increasing its network into Northern Europe.

Bookings for the expanded schedule are now open on all platforms, including IndiGo’s website and mobile app, and across authorised travel partners.

On this specific route, passengers can choose between economy class and the premium IndiGoStretch business product, which includes complimentary hot meals and beverages and in-flight entertainment with approximately 300 hours of content, according to the official release.

According to Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, this expansion strengthens the airline’s presence in Europe and offers Copenhagen as a gateway to the Nordic region for Indian travellers. “With every new international destination – Copenhagen being our 44th – we are inching closer to our vision of being a trusted global airline, giving wings to the nation, and increasingly to the world,” Elbers said.

Schedule of flights between Mumbai and Copenhagen

Here is the flight schedule between Mumbai and Copenhagen, effective October 8, 2025:

Mumbai to Copenhagen: Flight 6E 0041 departs Mumbai at 04:35 and arrives in Copenhagen at 10:05.

Copenhagen to Mumbai: Flight 6E 0042 departs Copenhagen at 12:30 and arrives in Mumbai at 00:30 (+1 day).

Both flights are scheduled to operate thrice weekly.
