BGMI 4.0 Update: Mobile gamers in India are finally getting the much awaited Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI 4.0 update that brings new themes, weapons and more. The new BGMI 4.0 update offers new content and other improvements in the all-round game performance which will become clear once you install and start playing the latest version. The BGMI 4.0 update is called the Spooky Soiree version that has ghost-based themes and new game modes as well.
BGMI 4.0 Spooky Soiree Update: What Gamers Get
The new gameplay is right in time for Halloween with the new ghostly mansion part of the Spooky Soiree theme and you have Ghostie paired along with the gamers helping them battle across different challenges.
BGMI is letting players live on as Prankster Ghost in the new mode even after they are killed in the gameplay. They get abilities like explosive charges, using shields and even tracking their runners before they run out of energy to continue playing in the ghost avatar.
Speaking of weapons, the BGMI 4.0 update brings mortar which is a dangerous tool that works for both long and short range attacks. You also get better grip for shooting using guns.
BGMI 4.0 update also offers new rewards and other showdown modes that will be gradually available for gamers.
BGMI 4.0 Update Release Schedule: When You Get It?
The BGMI 4.0 update is rolling out in phases across Android, iOS app stores and the official BGMI website to download the latest APK file for the app.
- BGMI 4.0 for Android: 30 percent at 6:30 IST, 50 percent rollout at 9:30 IST and 100 percent release by 11:30 IST
- BGMI 4.0 for iOS: 100 percent rollout by 11:30 IST
- BGMI 4.0 via website: APK available on official website at 12:30 IST
Besides bringing new themes, gameplay and weapons, the BGMI 4.0 update also brings a patch to fix issues faced by iOS users. The developer advises all gamers to install the new version when available for their devices.
