iPhone 17 launch means the older iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models are now cheaper to buy from Apple’s official channel.

iPhone 16 has seen a Rs 10,000 price cut in India
The iPhone 17 series is now official and Apple has made them available for pre-orders but that also means happy news for those eyeing the older iPhone 16 models in the market. Yes, the company has quietly made the price change for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus variants that will be still available through Apple and other channels in the country.
All eyes have been on the new iPhone Air, and the iPhone 17 Pro series, especially in the new orange and blue colour ways, but the most popular iPhone in the last few quarters becomes even more appealing for people, who will get Apple AI benefits along with other features.
iPhone 16 And 16 Plus Price Cut In India: How Much You Pay Now
iPhone 16 price in India now starts at Rs 69,900 which is Rs 10,000 less than its original price tag. However, you only get the 128GB version from Apple and have to look at other platforms for a better deal and other storage options.
The iPhone 16 Plus is also getting a price revision, which now costs Rs 79,900 for the 128GB model, and Rs 89,900 if you want the 256GB variant. This is also a Rs 10,000 price cut from Apple which could be higher on other platforms in the next few weeks.
To be fair, the official price cut on Apple’s website will most likely get you higher discounts across special sales in the next few weeks, and it won’t be the worst idea to wait for them.
