Team India underwent an intense fielding drill ahead of Asia Cup opener against UAE. Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Jitesh Sharma, and Varun Chakravarthy aced the session.
Team India’s fielding drill in Dubai
Defending champions India are leaving no stone unturned to gear up for the Asia Cup. The unit arrived in Dubai last week and has gone through three training sessions already. In their latest session at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the men in blue had an intense fielding drill. The players were divided into multiple groups and tasked to make direct hits.
A majority of players, including skipper Suryakumar Yadav and his deputy Shubman Gill, failed to hit the bull’s eye. The players who succeeded were Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Jitesh Sharma, and Varun Chakravarthy. All of them were rewarded with a cash prize from fielding coach T Dilip.
