RVNL: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Texmaco Rail, which recently signed a joint venture agreement to build India’s next-gen railway ecosystem, will incorporate a new company by November.
HDFC Life: The insurer said it expects less than 0.5% impact on embedded value from the GST change.
TVS Motor: TVS Motor launched the NTORQ 150, calling it India’s first hyper sport scooter designed for Gen Z riders.
JB Chemicals & Pharma: Torrent Pharma announced an open offer to acquire up to 4.17 crore equity shares of JB Chemicals, representing 26% of its expanded share capital, at Rs 1,639.18 per share, aggregating Rs 6,842.80 crore in cash.

Container Corp: Signed an MoU with Bhavnagar Port Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to operate and maintain the upcoming container terminal at Bhavnagar Port, Gujarat. BPIPL earlier secured 235 hectares on a 30-year lease from the Gujarat Maritime Board.
NTPC: Permanently discontinued operations of Tanda Thermal Power Station Stage-I, comprising four 110 Mw units, effective Sep 1, 2025. With this closure, NTPC’s installed and commercial capacity now stands at 82,926 Mw.
RSWM: Signed a power supply and management agreement with Powerpulse Trading Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, to procure renewable energy under the Group Captive Scheme.
Zydus Lifesciences: Through its subsidiary Zydus Lifesciences Global FZE, the company signed an exclusive licensing and supply agreement with Synthon BV, Netherlands, for Ozanimod Capsules in the U.S.
RPP Infra Projects: Received a Letter of Acceptance for an EPC order worth Rs 134.21 crore for the improvement of the Matheran-Neral-Kalamb road in Raigad district, Maharashtra.
Indo-Tech Transformers: Secured a purchase order to manufacture and supply nine 125 MVA transformers worth Rs 78.39 crore, plus taxes.
Varun Beverages: Incorporated a joint venture, White Peak Refrigeration Pvt. Ltd., to manufacture visi-coolers and refrigeration equipment.
Bharat Forge: Subsidiary Agneyastra Energetics acquired 949.65 acres in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, for a defence energetics complex. The facility will manufacture explosives, ammunition, and gun propellants, with future plans to expand into rockets, missiles, and space systems.
