Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the PM Kisan 20th installment of Rs 2,000 to each eligible farmer today, <strong>Saturday, August 2, 2025,<\/strong> at an event in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n<p id=\"1\" class=\"story_para_1\">The 19th installment of the scheme was disbursed in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p id=\"2\" class=\"story_para_2\">It is mandatory for eligible farmers to complete e-KYC and other required verifications to receive the installment.<\/p>\n<p id=\"3\" class=\"story_para_3\">In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Agriculture said, \u201cLand seeding was made mandatory along with Aadhaar-based payment and e-KYC. The benefits of the farmers, who did not complete these mandatory criteria, were stopped. As and when these farmers complete their mandatory requirements, they receive the benefits of the scheme along with their due installments, if any.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"4\" class=\"story_para_4\">As per the scheme\u2019s official website, \u201ceKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"5\" class=\"story_para_5\">You can complete e-KYC in three simple ways: OTP-based e-KYC, biometric e-KYC, facial authentication.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"listOncontentArticleUL\">\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/pmkisan.gov.in\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/pmkisan.gov.in<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on \u2018Know Your Status\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Enter your registration number or Aadhaar number<\/li>\n<li>Check whether your name is on the beneficiary list<\/li>\n<li>Also ensure that your eKYC is completed, as it is mandatory for installment release.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"9\" class=\"story_para_9\">Launched in 2019 after being announced in the Interim Budget by then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal, the PM Kisan scheme has become the world\u2019s largest DBT scheme.
