Alia Bhatt joined in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year in Mumbai, giving her fans a peek into the festivities through a series of photos shared on Instagram. The actor, who has had a packed schedule with her upcoming films Alpha and Love & War, took time off to spend the special occasion with family. Interestingly, husband Ranbir Kapoor was missing from the pictures.<\/p>\n

Alia posted several photos, including one where she posed with her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, fondly calling her \u201csasu ma.” Both looked radiant as they smiled for the camera, holding hands. Alia captioned her post, \u201cLove, blessings & modaks \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffb,” giving fans a glimpse of the sweet treat she indulged in during the festival.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Alia opted for a bright pink churidaar set, paired with traditional jewellery that added to her festive glow. Fans were quick to compliment her simple yet elegant look, which stood out in her Ganesh Chaturthi photos. Along with her pictures with Neetu Kapoor, Alia also shared a photo of modaks, the traditional sweet synonymous with Ganesh Chaturthi.<\/p>\n

While Alia celebrated at home, Ranbir Kapoor joined his mother Neetu for Ganpati Visarjan festivities elsewhere in Mumbai. The two were spotted at a local pandal, performing aarti and joining devotees for the immersion ceremony. The contrast between the family\u2019s celebrations highlighted how the festival was marked with love, tradition, and devotion across different settings.<\/p>\n

On the work front, Alia was last seen in Jigra (2024), which underperformed at the box office despite high expectations. However, she is now gearing up for a new phase with exciting projects lined up. She will headline Alpha, an action-packed spy thriller also featuring Sharvari and Bobby Deol. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is expected to bring a fresh perspective with strong female leads.<\/p>\n
