EaseMyTrip Share Price:<\/strong> Shares of Easy Trip Planners Ltd, the parent of travel company EaseMyTrip.com, will be in focus during the Monday session, following a significant management change, where Prashant Pitti has been replaced by Nishant Pitti as the company\u2019s MD. According to a press release, Nishant Pitti took charge of Chairman cum Managing Director of Easy Trip Planners Ltd from a whole-time director for a period of 5 years, effective from August 29, 2025.<\/p>\n

The release added that Prashant Pitti gave his resignation from the position of Managing Director with immediate effect, from August 29, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on recommendation of Nomination & Remuneration Committee, the Board at its meeting held on 29th August, 2025 approved the Change in Designation of Mr. Nishant Pitti (DIN: 02172265) from Whole Time Director to Chairman cum Managing Director of the Company, subject to shareholders\u2019 approval,” the company said in the filing.<\/p>\n

The transition marks a crucial moment, with the company\u2019s shares having fallen consistently in 2025 so far. They are down almost 47 per cent on a year-to-date basis.<\/p>\n

Easy Trip Planners Ltd brought its Rs 510 crore IPO in 2021. Shares listed on a premium of Rs 206 on the BSE against the issue price of Rs 187 per share. However, since then, shares have continued to witness a fall, reflecting a loss of trust among investors.<\/p>\n

The current trading price of Easy Trip Planners Ltd shares is Rs 8.34 per share. In the last one year, they lost over 57.43 per cent value.<\/p>\n

Born in 1986 in Delhi, Nishant Pitti co-founded the company in 2008 alongside his brothers, Rikant and Prashant Pitti. The company got listed on the bourses in 2021.<\/p>\n

Apart from his role in the travel industry, Nishant Pitti has also been involved in Bollywood film production, contributing to movies such as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Batti Gul Meter Chalu .<\/p>\n

He is a Chartered Accountant, Law Graduate and a seasoned tax professional with over 18 years of experience in domestic and international tax and regulatory services.<\/p>\n
