Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani on Friday shared a glimpse of the future of JioHotstar, unveiling RIYA, a new voice-enabled search assistant as well as Voice Print that can help users enjoy sports and entertainment in one\u2019s favourite Indian language.<\/p>\n

Addressing the 48th Annual General Meeting, Akash Ambani said: \u201cThe launch of the JioHotstar app brought over 600 million users on board within three months. This included over 75 million connected TVs. With 300 million paying subscribers, JioHotstar is now the world\u2019s second-largest streaming platform\u2014achieved entirely in India. This record shows the immense potential of the Indian market. In addition, with a 34 per cent TV market share \u2013 equal to the next three networks combined \u2013 we are well on our path to serve a billion screens across mobile, TV, and connected devices.”<\/p>\n

Presenting the future of JioHotstar, Akash Ambani introduced RIYA, a voice-enabled search assistant that makes discovering content effortless. \u201cRIYA is built for the way you think and speak.
