Reliance AGM 2025:<\/strong> Reliance Industries Chairman & Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Friday said the company is developing one of the world\u2019s largest single-site solar projects in Kutchh, Gujarat, spanning 5,50,000 acres of arid land \u2013 three times the size of Singapore.\u00a0 He was addressing shareholders during the company\u2019s 48th annual general meeting (AGM).<\/p>\n

Ambani further said this single site could meet nearly 10% of India\u2019s electricity needs within the next decade. \u201cAt peak, we will deploy 55 MW of solar modules and 150 MWh of battery containers every day,” he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also announced that the work on the Dhirubhai Ambani Giga Energy Complex at Jamnagar is progressing at a record pace, calling it \u201cunmatched globally in size, scale and integration”, comparing to four times to Tesla Gigafactory and equal to 100 Eiffel Towers.<\/p>\n

Ambani further stated that Jamnagar will be the cradle of both the the world\u2019s largest Conventional Energy complex and the world\u2019s largest New Energy complex.<\/p>\n

RIL Chairman also informed that their Solar PV manufacturing platform is already operational. \u201cWe have successfully produced our first 200 MW of HJT modules. These deliver 10% higher energy yield, 20% better temperature performance, and 25% lower degradation,” he said in the RIL AGM.<\/p>\n

Announcing on the plans to scale up Solar PV manufacturing, Ambani said they would expand to 10 GWp per annum of fully integrated annual solar PV manufacturing capacity and then further to 20 GWp capacity. \u201cThis will be the largest solar manufacturing facility, and the most integrated single-site solar complex globally,” he added.<\/p>\n

Ambani also highlighted that the company is constructing its battery and electrolyser giga factories, aiming to start in 2026. It will begin with 40 GWh per year capacity and expand modularly to 100 GWh per year.<\/p>\n

Our electrolyser giga factory will also be operational by end-2026, with the ability to scale up to 3 GW per year. It will enable cost-competitive green hydrogen production at global scale, backed by exclusive global technology partnerships, and strengthened by our in-house capabilities, Ambani added in his speech at 48th RIL AGM.<\/p>\n
