Param Sundari, starring Janhvi Kapoor<\/a> and Sidharth Malhotra, is finally out in theatres. The stars recently appeared in IMDb\u2019s original series \u2018Speed Dating\u2019 where they shared their take on romance and first dates. Janhvi recalled how she would avoid unwanted advances from men and even opened up about her idea of love.<\/p>\n

On her most ridiculous excuse to turn down unwanted advances, Janhvi Kapoor revealed, \u201cI\u2019ve said I\u2019m married a lot. Someone coming up to me in person has mostly been outside of India. A lot of waiters in LA would send me their phone number or get me something that I didn\u2019t order. I was with Orry once and said he\u2019s my husband.”<\/p>\n

Janhvi Kapoor also revealed her dealbreaker for a first date, she said, \u201cThe first date is a big one. They shouldn\u2019t show up late; in fact, they should show up early. They should seem nervous.” She continued, \u201cIntangible and emotional gestures mean a lot more to me than tangible materialistic things.”<\/p>\n

Sharing a romantic thing a partner has done to impress her, Janhvi Kapoor said, \u201cI would say he had taken a really long trip, gone through a long journey to come and meet me for a short span of time. Once from London to Bombay, to see me for just like 5 hours because I had a really bad dream and I was panicking.”<\/p>\n

On being asked about her learnings about love through the making of Param Sundari<\/a>, she said, \u201cI don\u2019t think love is only romantic. There is a lot of love we both have towards our work. During our tough days, it wasn\u2019t thinking about the finish line or how maybe we\u2019ll reap certain rewards that was making us go through with it. I think it was purely for the love of cinema, or the idea that we\u2019ll create something that is fun and memorable to watch.”<\/p>\n

Param Sundari Review<\/h2>\n

It leaves you smiling, maybe even believing, however briefly, in the miracle of soulmates, algorithm or no algorithm,” the review also mentions.<\/p>\n
